Faith, Family, and Disability Inclusion

A Blog of a Wife, Mom, Healthcare Designer, and Disability Advocate

Faith, Family, and the Fight to Include Everyone

Southern-Raised. Faith-Led. Family-Focused.

Hi, I’m January Corbin—a happily married wife, mom of three, healthcare designer, and disability advocate. Our family is deeply rooted in faith, fueled by sports (especially baseball), and shaped by disability advocacy and love. My two older boys, Mac and Cal, are passionate athletes and fierce protectors of their younger sister, Ann Bailey, who is disabled and thrives in wheelchair tennis. This blog is where I share life at the intersection of motherhood, faith, sports, design, and disability—real life, real challenges, and the beauty found in showing up for one another.

“Be on your guard; stand firm in the faith; be courageous; be strong. Do everything in love.”
— 1 Corinthians 16:13–14

This Is Real Life—and You’re Not Alone

Our family’s story is rooted in faith and shaped by advocacy. My two older boys, Mac and Cal, love sports—especially baseball—and have grown into fierce protectors of their younger sister, Ann Bailey, who is disabled and thrives in wheelchair tennis. Together, we navigate medical appointments, insurance appeals, advocacy work, and the joy that comes from showing up for one another every single day.

Here, I write honestly about motherhood, medical complexity, inclusion, and what it looks like to live faith out loud—not perfectly, but faithfully.

What You’ll Find Here

Disability Advocacy and Inclusion

I provide practical support and encouragement for families navigating disability, medical complexity, and insurance appeals. My advocacy is deeply personal, rooted in lived experience and faith, and focuses on ensuring access and dignity for disabled children and their families. Inclusion should never be optional.

Healthcare and Inclusive Designer

I use my healthcare design expertise to create environments that are functional, inclusive, and human-centered. By bridging clinical needs with real-life family experiences, I strive to enhance accessibility and usability.

Faith-Centered Motherhood

I share stories of parenting, perseverance, and trusting God through seasons that are both beautiful and challenging, embracing the sacred and the everyday.

Faith-Centered Motherhood

I share authentic stories at the intersection of motherhood, faith, disability, and youth sports. My content highlights resilience, teamwork, and inclusion, encouraging families and shifting perspectives through lived experience.

Sports, Siblings, and Everyday Life

Sports have instilled values of teamwork and resilience in our family. Whether on the sidelines or wheelchair courts, we celebrate and support one another, regardless of the outcome.

Art with Purpose

For me, creativity is healing. Painting, often with my children—especially Ann Bailey—serves as therapy and advocacy. Every artwork purchased supports disability advocacy and awareness, turning creativity into meaningful action.

About Me

At 40+, I’m a happily married wife and mom of three incredible kids, and sports are woven into the fabric of our family. My two older boys, Mac and Cal, love all sports—but baseball holds a special place in our hearts. It’s where teamwork, grit, and joy meet. Our youngest, our sweet girl, Ann Bailey, plays wheelchair tennis. She’s kind, determined, and has a way of standing out simply by being herself. Whether on a field or on a court, sports have taught our family about perseverance, inclusion, and cheering one another on—no matter the lane we’re in.

“Let us run with perseverance the race marked out for us.”
— Hebrews 12:1
